Vanessa Moss has been a small business owner for nearly twenty years.

 

Founding a private practice specializing in Family Law, Probate, Juvenile and Criminal Defense, Vanessa has established a solid career as an attorney.  She currently sits on the State Bar of Michigan Family Bar Counsel, where she serves on the Membership Committee and the Alternative Family Committee- which gives input on proposed legislative changes to state laws that affect families.

 

Prior to starting her practice, Vanessa worked as a Judicial Assistant at the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice.

 

Vanessa has volunteered to protect our electoral process as a poll watcher and as an Election Protection Attorney.   She continues to serve the community by volunteering in free legal service programs.

 

Vanessa holds a J.D. from University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, and a B.A. from Wayne State University in History.

 

While working full time, Vanessa raised her family in Southfield, Michigan.

 

Having sons who graduated from Southfield High and North Farmington High, Vanessa spent time as an active mom in the PTO and the PTA.  She also volunteered as a Cheer Coach for the Southfield Jayhawks Youth Football organization.  She was also a member of the Rotary Club.

 

Vanessa is a member of Triumph Church, where she attends regularly.
